Massachusetts

Jul 4, 2023

From New Jersey, we drove to Acton, Massachusetts. Why Acton? Because that’s where my brother and sister-in-law live. It has been more than a decade since we’ve seen each other. So we spent almost two weeks there. We visited historic Concord, historic Salem, and Boston during that time. I’ve divided photos into those destinations.

But first, a few food-related pics from the Acton area, because we mostly ate.

Boston

It was rainy the whole day, so we didn’t take a lot of pics. Here are the ones we took.

Historic Concord

From the “shot heard round the world” to Louisa May Alcott’s (Little Women) house, Concord is packed with history. The North Bridge is where the first shots that killed British soldiers were shot. They didn’t let us take pictures inside the Little Women house, unfortunately.

Historic Salem

Yes, the Salem of the witch trials. The whole town is focused on that for tourism. It’s a lot of fun. But there’s also a graveyard, and memorials for the victims.

We were there during Pride month, so the whole town was decorated in Pride colors. The people were amazing. You can go into any shop and look around without feeling any pressure to buy. And there are a lot of shops.

Thanks again for following our adventures!
