Greenville, South Carolina
Getting settled into a new lifestyle takes time. We’re not even close. But we had to have fun or we’d miss the whole point of this adventure.
On Wednesday, we went to downtown Greenville, SC. Amazingly, there’s a huge, beautiful park right in the middle of the city. In that park is a walking suspension bridge and a fantastic waterfall. It’s best described with some photos (click to enlarge).
On Thursday we visited Whitewater Falls in (near) Cashiers, North Carolina. It is the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. On the way, we stopped at Lake Keowee for a view (photo of Sharon with Chip). Once again, photos explain best what we experienced (with one video at the end).
Our other Greenville experiences were mostly meal-based. I worked a lot in our room and Sharon took care of Chip. Here are a few more pics of our food adventures.
Thank you for following our adventures!
